Every piece I create is more than silver and stone—it’s a story told through my hands. Inspired by horses and my own journey, this is where artistry and soul collide.

My name is Monica and I am the owner of The Yellow Mare. I am a wife, mom of three and a Muskogee Creek Citizen. I live within the Creek reservation in Oklahoma. The Yellow Mare was born out of a love for creating jewlery. My business is named after a very special horse. My mare, Rio, she was with me through seasons of growth, grit and joy she was a great horse and I wanted to keep her spirt alive.

Every piece of jewelry I create is inspired by the ranching life style. Horses and cows have always been a huge part of my life so much of my inspiration comes from where I grew up on the prairie of Oklahoma and I still live her to this day.

To me The Yellow Mare is more than jewelry. Its a nod to heritage, to wide open prairies, to the horses that shape us and to the women who wear their stories with pride.
